I Peter 2:4-10

You may care deeply about someone who does not know Jesus right now. How can you begin to present evidence to them that would help them consider Jesus as a viable pursuit? We are leaping into "A Case for Christianity" Series, where we will be exploring four key questions on four Sundays: Does Truth Exist? Does God Exist? Are Miracles Possible? and Is the New Testament Reliable?

TAKEAWAY
Truth: what corresponds to reality, what is real

Truth is discovered, transcultural, does not change if our beliefs change, is not affected by sincerity or by the one professing it.

1. There is freedom in Truth
2. There is relationship with God in Truth
3. There is relationship with each other in Truth

QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION
1. Do you think it matters if objective Truth exists? Why or why not?

2. Many people quote, “The truth will set you free” (John 8:31), but in looking at the context (John 8:31-36), do you think Jesus meant what contemporary people think he meant? Why or why not?

APPLICATION
What are some ways you could respond when someone tells you that Christianity might be true for you, but not for them?
