Here is a hard truth. Everything passes. Vacations begin, but then, they are over. Every song resolves into silence. Even the movie, "The Never-Ending Story" turns into closing credits. All created things have a beginning and an ending. That includes you and me. Death is the acknowledged truth we do not speak about. But the Bible is not shy about the subject; in fact, it takes death from behind the curtains and shines a spotlight on it. This Sunday we will do the same. Psalm 90 will be our teacher.
