One of my favorite bands has a song entitled, “I’ve got everything I want, and I got nothing that I need.” It’s a song that seems to fit our generation. People clamor for stuff and then act surprised that stuff doesn’t satisfy. Christians are not immune; but we are blessed with a promise. This week we will look at John 16:23,24. Jesus says that we can ask anything of the Father and we will get it! Is that too good to be true? No! Is that what we think it is? Probably not. As we take time with the text, we will see that God is not promising less, but more than we could imagine.
