In the narrative of the rise of King David we have three distinct stories introducing the reader to David.
Why three? No single story will do the rise of David justice so we are given three angles; three vantage points.
The first story is about David the Shepherd Boy.
The second story is David the young musician.
The third is David the young unknown warrior.
Likely you have heard the story. But how well do you know it? Perhaps there is more to the story than you realize. Maybe God has something for you in it, that you don’t expect.
