WORKPLACE SAFETY PLAN
In order to reduce the number of people/volunteers in the building, we have work-from-home arrangements, virtual meetings, and are limiting the number of visitors to the building.
- All staff must stay home when sick
- Anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days must self-isolate at home
- Anyone who has been identified by Public Health as a close contact of someone with COVID-19 must self-isolate at home
- Anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada must self-isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms.
COMMON AREAS
- We have established and posted occupancy limits for common areas and the rooms in the building
- Masks are required to be worn in the building other than when alone in your own office space
- Frequent handwashing after touching common areas and surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, photocopier, shared tables, desk and using washrooms
- Workers should wipe down doorknobs, light switches, photocopier, shared tables and desks between uses
CLEANING
- Cleaning protocols are in place and workers who are cleaning have received adequate training and materials and have the proper cleaning and disinfecting supplies needed
- Cleaning and disinfecting the building takes place daily before and after use
- Common areas and surfaces are cleaned and disinfected before and after usage daily, including doorknobs, light switches, photocopier, shared tables, desk and washrooms
- Disinfectant wipes are provided in washroom stalls with instructions for users to assist with cleaning after use
