Here’s something to ponder. Ungrace can show up in all kinds of places. Where from your experience are the greatest sources of ungrace? How are you at extending grace to yourself when you mess up? How are you at extending grace to those who around you who obviously don’t cut it, at least from what you can tell? John, the beloved, penned these words, that Jesus was full of grace and truth. Any coincidence that he was the disciple who laid his head on Jesus’ chest during the last supper? Any reason why he listed grace first, and truth second? What is this saying? Did people first experience Jesus as full of grace, before they knew Him as full of truth? If so, what is this telling us as His followers? Do we lead with grace? Hope you can make it this Sunday where we continue to press into Jesus, and what it means to be a people full of grace…and truth.
