There is an ongoing struggle for power in today’s world. The war in Ukraine, clashes in the United Nations, civil unrest in Africa, the struggle to obtain natural resources, and the China-Taiwan sabre-rattling are just a few of the ways this plays out in our modern world. These are local conflicts that have international repercussions. The Bible claims that the Creator is the true Lord of the Earth. His plan is to bless all the people groups regardless of their geographic location. What this means for us will be explored with examples from Taiwan and other places. Together we will consider our response as we are caught in the middle between the global situation and God’s desire for humankind. Ideas will be presented about how we can work together seamlessly.
